IDE is an incubator built on a single premise: the data generated by a product is often worth more than the product itself. We design ventures from the ground up to produce datasets that don’t exist yet, then use them to compound advantage long after launch.
Most companies build a product and hope useful data falls out of it. We build the data first, and let the product be how it’s collected.
Every venture in the IDE pipeline is engineered from day one to generate a proprietary behavioral dataset as its primary output, with the product itself as the instrument that collects it. That ordering is the whole model.
A dataset built this way compounds. It gets more valuable, more defensible, and harder to replicate every year it runs, which is why we think about ventures less like products and more like long-running instruments.

IDE is built by an operator, not a theorist. Two decades spent inside consumer hardware, direct-response, and regulated-category distribution, building, launching, and scaling category-defining products (several from the ground up through exit). That experience informs every venture in this pipeline.
Every project here is being built by someone who has already done a version of this before, at scale, in the categories it touches.
